Lincoln University: Where Affordability Meets Convenience

Founded in 1919 in San Francisco, Lincoln University was originally established to provide education to American soldiers returning from the First World War. Since then, the university has evolved into a truly diverse international institution with students hailing from 62 countries.

The reason for its global popularity is no doubt down to Lincoln University’s commitment to providing affordable and convenient education, recognizing the unique needs of its students. While institutions like Stanford may charge in the region of $120,000 for their MBA programs, Lincoln University offers its MBA program at a far more accessible $20,000.

Despite its small size, Lincoln University delivers consistently high-quality education across several programs—from bachelor’s to doctoral degrees, and a standout Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Most tellingly, the university often ranked third in Northern California, trailing only behind UC Berkeley and Stanford.

As impressive as the university’s academic record is, its primary goal is not to produce Nobel laureates in economics, but to deliver practical business skills, preparing them to manage successful enterprises. “There’s no business education like the one you find in the United States,” says university President Mikhail Brodsky. “It’s a country where everybody is selling something. The ability to sell is the key to business success. You can learn all the theory you like, but if there’s no sale, nothing happens.”

Aside from the university’s quality and affordability, it also offers unmatched flexibility to its wide range of students, many of whom have jobs. Unlike larger universities, Lincoln offers individualized schedules, allowing master’s level students to attend classes just two days a week. The university also arranges housing in the City of Alameda, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for its students. With the campus located near Oakland City Hall, the center of San Francisco Bay Area and public transportation systems, it’s a hassle-free education experience in every aspect.
