"We want to empower our educators and parents to ensure that every child has the opportunity to develop a lifelong love for learning.”

Could you perhaps give us a brief introduction to the organization as of today?

We are a preschool consultancy social enterprise founded to help the early childhood scene in Singapore. We hope to provide quality solutions for our preschool educators, preschool centers and parents with children aged 0 to 6.

Our primary focus is to empower educators and parents with the tools and knowledge needed to create engaging, inclusive and effective learning environments for young children. We also aim to bridge the gap between learning needs and resources and foster this community of support and collaboration in early childhood education.

What have been the keys to the success of the organization in the last several years?

One is definitely community building. That is our main focus and the driver for our company. We want to foster a strong sense of community and collaboration among educators, parents and children.

The second factor is our commitment to quality. We want to ensure that all our resources and services meet the educational standard and the client’s needs.

Third is innovation. We are constantly trying to better ourselves and develop unique and effective educational material solutions and services for our preschool educators and parents. Those are some of the keys to our success.

I would like to discuss your different B2B solutions a bit more. We understand that they include teacher training, student programs and curriculum development. Could you please explain your different services to us a bit?

The first one is professional development for teachers or educators. We help develop workshops and targeted customized solutions that educators and parents require. We understand what the clients want.

We conducted a learning journey for 100 Mandarin teachers. Their point person wanted them to get together outdoors to learn about teamwork, etc. We curated all their requirements to fulfill the professional development classes or workshops for them. That’s one example.

We also have children’s programs designed to help our children learn effectively. We work with different partners, such as the Sentosa Singapore Chinese Culture Center. We still work with the organization to allow the children to learn according to their interests.

The last point you mentioned is about curriculum design. Sometimes, preschools would want to revamp their curriculum design or lesson plans. As such, we work with them to see how to better update their curriculum according to the latest learning needs of the children. We have a group of consultants we work with to make sure that our clients’ needs are met. When we meet with them, we need to understand what they want to upgrade or change, and then we really need to make sure that it is done accordingly.

Could you tell us a little bit more about the role of innovation for Preschool Market to keep up with the new trends in education?

Innovation is actually at the heart of Preschool Market’s business and operation. We continuously explore new approaches to education. We leverage the latest research and technological advancements to develop cutting-edge resources and tools. Our team’s innovative mindset allows us to create unique solutions that address the evolving needs of educators and parents, ultimately enhancing the learning experience of our children.

We have interactive digital materials that allow you to personalize or customize a learning lesson plan. This innovation drives our efforts to provide impactful and effective educational support.

What would you say are your competitive strengths?

The education sector is quite competitive. Different providers offer different types of solutions, but we try to be a one-stop consultancy firm that specializes in early childhood education in all aspects of the preschool business for educators, children and parents. We specialize in early childhood education, and this is one of our competitive strengths.

Our focus on preschool education allows us to tailor our offerings specifically to the needs of young children. We also have high-quality resources. We maintain our rigorous standards to ensure that all our services and resources are of the highest quality and efficacy.

For community engagement, we foster a strong sense of community among parents and educators. This promotes collaborations and shared learning experiences.

Last but not least is an innovative solution. Our approach is quite forward-thinking. The use of technology also enables us to provide unique and effective solutions.

Are you also looking for potential partners within the educational sector, perhaps to expand your services or for other reasons?

Yes, definitely. We are also looking to extend out of Singapore. As such, we are definitely looking for partners and collaborators to see how we can provide all our services to different preschools or even organizations that actually work with young children and families.

Is there anything I haven’t asked you about that you would like to mention?

Some of our focus programs are actually in the area of sustainability. One of our community projects is called Kindred Studio. We created this ecosystem whereby we have corporations donate money as well as raw materials to sustain this with Kindred Studio. It is where teachers can come and pick up the materials to make their learning modules and come to their studio to learn more about sustainability for young children. We would like to expand this idea better as well. This is the one community project that we have developed.

What will be your main key message for this article?

We want to empower our educators and parents through our enterprise with quality resources. This will create an engaging learning environment and ensure that every child has the opportunity to develop a lifelong love for learning.

What is your vision for Preschool Market in the next three to five years?

We really hope to expand and scale so that we can reach more children and families across the globe. We hope to build and expand this community so that we will have different communities in different countries. We can support each other because we want to provide a learning opportunity for every child.
