"Centrum Air prioritizes passenger safety and comfort at every stage of the journey."
What are the key factors behind AmeriFreight’s success in the auto transport industry?
We understand that behind every vehicle shipment is a real person experiencing an important life event. Whether someone is relocating for a new job, moving to a new military duty station, sending a child to college, or purchasing a vehicle from across the country, auto transport often accompanies significant, sometimes stressful transitions.
Our success comes from recognizing that responsibility and treating every customer with the respect and attention they deserve. Over the past 22 years, we have continuously improved the customer experience by listening to feedback, adapting to changing needs, and investing in processes and technology that make vehicle shipping more reliable and transparent.
While we move vehicles, our broader mission is to help people navigate important moments in their lives with greater confidence and peace of mind.
What are your core services today, and what makes your vehicle shipping solutions stand out?
AmeriFreight is a Tyrone, Georgia-based car shipping broker. We serve both consumers and businesses. On the consumer side, we help individuals and families transport vehicles nationwide. On the business side, we support dealerships, OEMs, corporate relocation programs, and other transportation partners.
What differentiates us is our customer-centric approach. We focus on delivering reliable, transparent, and cost-effective transportation solutions while maintaining a strong network of vetted carriers.
One lesson from the past several years is that resilient logistics networks depend on flexibility and communication. Companies that can adapt quickly to changing demand, weather disruptions, rising operating costs, labor shortages, and regional bottlenecks are better positioned to serve customers consistently and reliably.
How would you describe the current competitive landscape, and what gives AmeriFreight a strong position in it?
The transportation industry continues to face challenges, including rising fuel costs, labor shortages, fraud risks, and increasing customer expectations.
Brokerage fraud is an accelerating problem in our industry. New entrants with minimal vetting infrastructure have entered the market, and consumers often have no way to verify whether a carrier is properly licensed and insured before their vehicle is picked up. The underlying driver is margin pressure: rising fuel costs and labor shortages have pushed many brokers to cut carrier vetting standards and reduce service capacity in order to compete on price. The result is a market split between operators who lower rates by cutting corners and those who absorb higher costs to maintain standards.
Our response has been to focus on operational excellence. Rather than sacrificing quality to reduce costs, we invest in technology, process improvements, and fraud prevention measures that increase efficiency while not only maintaining, but improving service standards.
Efficient logistics networks are an important part of economic connectivity. Even in specialized sectors such as vehicle transportation, reliability and responsiveness affect consumers, dealerships, relocations, and broader commerce. After more than two decades in the industry, including periods of fuel crises, labor shortages, and the entry of lower-cost competitors, we have developed the experience and operational discipline necessary to adapt to changing market conditions while continuing to deliver value to customers.
What are your plans for market growth and expansion in the auto transport sector?
We are pursuing growth through two complementary strategies.
First, we are helping expand awareness of vehicle shipping as a practical alternative to long-distance driving. Many consumers are surprised to learn that shipping a vehicle can often be safer, more convenient, and more cost-effective than driving it themselves. A significant portion of this effort targets people who have never considered vehicle shipping as an option, particularly those navigating job relocations, military duty station changes, college moves, and long-distance vehicle purchases. These are often time-sensitive situations where driving becomes the default not because it’s preferred, but because shipping isn’t known to be available or affordable. For military families facing mandatory relocation timelines in particular, that awareness gap can mean avoidable cost, lost time, and added logistics stress at an already demanding moment.
Second, we take an inside-out approach to growth. We continue to invest heavily in our people, technology, and operational capabilities. Strong teams equipped with the right tools deliver better customer experiences, and sustainable growth follows naturally from that foundation.
How does AmeriFreight attract and serve customers and partners, and what is your approach to ensuring a smooth shipping experience?
Today’s consumers expect the same level of visibility and transparency from vehicle logistics that they receive from other modern service platforms. Digital tracking, proactive communication, and carrier vetting have become essential to building trust. Our infrastructure is what separates a reliable shipment from one that leaves a customer without their vehicle and without recourse.
More broadly, the future of transportation logistics is being shaped by visibility, flexibility, and consumer confidence. Customers increasingly expect real-time updates, reliable coordination, and transparent service throughout the shipping process.
At AmeriFreight, we view customer trust as our most valuable asset. We continuously invest in technology, communication, and operational improvements to ensure we meet—and exceed—those expectations.
