Could you provide an overview of your organization’s focus and the services you offer to pediatric patients?

We specialize in pediatric nursing services for patients up to the age of 20, continuing until they turn 21. This involves providing skilled nursing care delivered by Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to children who require medical assistance at home. Physicians prescribe these services, and our nurses ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Since 2017, we’ve been committed to supporting children and their families across Texas.

What do you consider the key factors that contribute to your organization’s success?

Teamwork stands out as one of the most critical elements of our success. Our team members, from caregivers to administrative staff, demonstrate unwavering dedication and compassion. Providing care for medically fragile children demands an exceptional level of detail and clear communication. Strong collaboration between caregivers, clients, and our administrative team is essential to ensure optimal care delivery.

Given that much of our work occurs in remote settings, we rely heavily on our field clinicians to update us about the children’s needs—whether it’s a medication adjustment or communicating significant changes in a patient’s condition to their physician. Reliability, excellent communication skills, and a deep sense of commitment are qualities we highly value in our team.

Can you outline the primary services your organization provides and the scope of care you deliver?

We are exclusively focused on pediatric private duty nursing. This service includes providing skilled nursing care—up to 24 hours a day—for children who are medically fragile or reliant on medical technology. Currently, we operate from five locations across Texas.

How does your organization collaborate with schools to ensure continuity of care for children requiring medical support during school hours?

Many of the children we support attend school, and we work closely with school nurses and administrative teams to ensure their medical needs are met alongside their educational goals. Our nurses accompany patients to school, as well as to medical appointments when necessary. For children who require ambulance transport, we coordinate with providers to secure insurance authorizations and ensure their safety. Additionally, some of our patients participate in recreational outings, and our nurses provide essential support during these activities, ensuring their well-being.

Your organization goes above and beyond for patients. Could you share examples that highlight this commitment?

We truly do. For example, just last night, one of our staff members drove over an hour to ensure a nurse could get to work when her car broke down. It’s this level of dedication that defines us. We also celebrate milestones with our clients, such as recovery after extended hospital stays or transitioning out of our services when they no longer require nursing care. Internally, we honor our staff’s achievements—whether it’s a birthday, work anniversary, or other significant milestone. This culture of appreciation is fundamental to our success.

What are the unique strengths of your professional team, and how do they support the delivery of exceptional care?

Our team’s strengths lie in their extensive experience and commitment to excellence. Many of our internal administrative team members and clinicians bring years of expertise to the table. We place a strong emphasis on thorough training to ensure our nurses are well-prepared to deliver effective care. Our hiring process is rigorous, incorporating multiple checks to maintain high standards. Another cornerstone of our strength is communication. In a field where care is often delivered remotely, clear and consistent communication among caregivers, families, and physicians is vital.

What advice would you give to pediatric nurses considering joining your team?

Looking ahead, we plan to expand further within Texas, with new locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Houston. Over the next four to six months, we also aim to enter additional markets across the state.

Technology plays a critical role in driving the success of our organization. We leverage advanced tools to streamline administrative processes, enhance communication between caregivers and families, and ensure accurate and timely medical documentation. These innovations allow our nurses to dedicate more time and attention to patient care, improving outcomes and overall satisfaction. Additionally, technology enables us to coordinate effectively with schools, physicians, and other stakeholders, ensuring a seamless continuum of care. By integrating these tools with our teamwork and culture of appreciation, we consistently deliver the highest standard of pediatric nursing services.

I’m incredibly grateful to be part of an organization that touches the lives of so many children and talented nurses. Personally, this work is profoundly rewarding. Many families depend on agencies like ours, and unfortunately, not all provide the same level of care. I believe we are a company that genuinely adds value to the lives of our clients and employees.
